The Department of Computer Science & Engineering is a unique center of BIT established in 1996. It offers a 4 year B.E(Computer Science & Engineering) programme and 2 year M.E. (Computer Science & engineering) programme. The department has been recognized as a centre for carrying out Ph.D./M.S. (by Research) Programme under Anna University, Chennai. It has dedicated and specialized faculty members in different areas of computer Science & Engineering with rich experience in academics, industry and research. The department has well equipped and spacious laboratories with modern computer equipments.
Big data is vast, huge, diverse and highly complex. It requires completely new technology, architecture, algorithms for extracting the hidden knowledge. The analytics part poses major challenge to researches in association to scientific field like space research, drug discovery, computational biology, genetic research, bioinformatics, material science, geographical information system, space observation, statistics, cognitive learning and artificial intelligence.
This program covers both the theoretical and practical aspects of Big Data, providing the participants with hands-on learning experience from the basis of data science, basic data models to advanced data models, map reduce and hadoop to database operations in Big Data.

To register, duly filled up and certified registration form needs to be submitted along with Demand Draft of Rs. 500/-. Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of ‘The Principal, Bannari Amman Institute of Technology’, payable at Sathyamangalam. This amount will be refunded to the applicants who attend the programme.
